It’s always refreshing to learn the ways in which our customers utilise our Business Process Management module InfoCapture. We’ve seen innovative and sometimes surprising uses of this application, from using it as a fully functioning helpdesk; a complete product return workflow; and even an online shop for users to purchase company merchandise.

The vast array of projects that our customers create really highlights how comprehensive and multi-layered InfoCapture is. With that in mind, our very own Project Management team have proposed the idea of using InfoCapture to handle our internal meetings. This idea is so simple, and yet so intuitive, and really combines our intranet and existing processes into one complete unit, working together in synchronisation.

The idea behind using InfoCapture to manage meetings is to reduce the number of meetings held, and make those that take place more productive. This is made possible with the use of InfoCapture, where it can be used as a central hub for setting up agendas, notifying the relevant attendees, recording actions and decisions from the meeting, and then assigning those actions to the appropriate team members.

Using InfoCapture in this way synchronises several processes into one, saving time and improving efficiency. It is also great for auditing purposes, where notes and discussions from meetings can be documented in one place, and referred to at a later date. Workflows will be enhanced and expedited, as actions from the meeting can be setup to be assigned to the relevant staff automatically.
