The story behind Claromentis – a leading UK intranet vendor

Claromentis is a UK intranet vendor that provides integrated digital workplaces that help companies share information, work smarter, and engage with people to reach their goals. We work with a range of organisations from the largest global brands such as Virgin Care and Golden State Warriors, to ambitious and driven SMEs, as well as charities, financial organisations, and educational institutions. Our aim is to provide the best possible service for our customers through an innovative approach which embraces change.

  • 1998 Claromentis established in our CEO’s garage 👏
  • 2001: Claromentis… It’s Latin for “clear mind” ‘Dynamic Intranet’ is no more, the company name is changed to ‘Claromentis’…it’s Latin for ‘clear mind’ by the way – for those of us who aren’t fluent in Latin 😉 Claromentis intranet software logo
  • 2003: We expand into Australia We expand into Australia with a new partnership, and an ongoing cricket battle between England and Australia ensues.
  • 2005: First customer with thousands of users We welcome one of our largest UK-based customers – Merlin Entertainments.

  • 2012: Learning Management System is released Our Learning Management System is released and we all sign up for office yoga 🧘‍♀️ Learn more about our Learning Management System >>
  • 2012: Custom app for the London Olympics A custom intranet application is developed in partnership with the Chief Fire Officers Association for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
  • 2013: We welcome our US & Canadian team Our US and Canadian partner joins the team and a wave of jealousy permeates through the office as we learn first-hand of the amazing culture.
  • 2013: Social project management, the European Commission and our 15th Birthday We release our social project management application and we launch an online self-assessment tool in partnership with the European Commission. Balloons and birthday cake at the ready, it’s our 15th birthday celebrations too 🍰🎈
  • 2014: iOS & Android mobile apps Our first mobile app for iOS and Android is released to support collaboration on the go, and it’s free for all our customers.
  • 2015: Rebranding We have introduced a fresh, new look to our global and Australian website and proud to announce that our 2015 branding is now in place.

  • 2015: Claromentis opens new office in California Claromentis opens a new office in Silicon Valley to support both our USA enterprise customer base and existing channel partners.
  • 2017: Our drag & drop intranet builder, Pages, is born Our revolutionary new app, Pages, allows intranet users to build their own intranet. Learn more about Pages >>
